This
week I received a phone call from Ken Langster of Heber Springs, Arkansas
who
is deeply involved in spreading the message of living by grace. He has an
extensive ministry in the prison units in Arkansas. Ken told of opportunities
to witness recently to those who are in a high security area called “lock
up.” Ken teaches the lost how to become Christians and teaches the
Christians how to live by God’s grace. Ken said that many exciting things
are happening among the prisoners.
Jerry
Halbrook, a pastor in McKinney, Texas shared this week of how living the life
of grace had miraculously resulted in the solution of a problem that he was
facing in his church.
Bill
Barnett of Oneonta, Alabama called to say this his church will have dedication
services for their new building the last Sunday in August. While speaking of
the building, he testified that the building was there because of the teaching
of the truths of our union with Christ at the church.
This
past week I continued with my three regular Bible studies teaching the
message: one if Red Oak, Texas, one if Ennis, Texas, and one on our home in
Dallas, Texas. In addition to that I had another session with a small group in
nearby church.
